metal rod, glazed ceramics, cloth, wheels
72 x 120 x 38cm
After observing an office chair with wheels for a long time, things started to jump into my eyes. A connection of the joint, fine texture of the surface, a contrast of the materials, etc. The observation grew further and led to weird imagination. As if it were given emotions, movements arose and the surface exaggeratedly swelled. The bent metal rod connected to the foam glazed body is hanged down to the floor as if it’s exhausted. The two parts are temporarily fixed with a dishcloth in the joint, associated with wiping off the sweat or stopping the leaking water.
